Tsugi Anime is an anime discovery app for iPhone and iPad, and a website at this address. This policy explains what they do, and do not do, with your data.
What we collect
Nothing. Tsugi Anime has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers of its own. Your likes, dislikes and bookmarks are computed and stored only on your device (and, for the home-screen widget, in an App Group container that never leaves the device). Deleting the app deletes them.
The website stores nothing in your browser and sets no cookies. It is static files on a content delivery network, which records ordinary web server request logs (IP address, browser, page requested) in the course of serving them; those logs are not linked to any identity here, and nothing from the map is sent back.
Network requests
The app ships with its catalog built in; the website downloads the same catalog as static files from this address. Beyond that, the only network traffic either one generates is:
- Cover art is fetched directly from AniList's image servers (
anilist.co) when a cover is shown. These requests carry your IP address, as any image download does, and are subject to AniList's privacy policy. - Links you tap, such as a streaming service's page, a TikTok or YouTube search, or a web search for where to watch, open in that service's app or in your browser, under that service's own policy. Tsugi Anime does not track that you tapped them.
Data sources and rights
Titles, synopses, tags and cover art are provided by AniList. Community ratings come from AniList, blended with MyAnimeList scores where available. Cover art, titles and studio names belong to their respective rights holders and appear solely to identify the works. Tsugi Anime is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AniList, MyAnimeList, or any animation studio, and hosts no episodes or streams.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children; it collects none at all.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
